Volunteering at West End Shelter We are always looking for volunteers here at West End Shelter. If you are at least 18 years old, have a heart for animals and at least 10 hours a months to spare, we would love to hear from you. All new volunteers are required to attend an orientation meeting. Volunteers are needed for: 1. Spending time with our dogs, which can include taking them for walks, grooming or just hanging out with them in one of our play areas. 2. Spending time with our cats. 3. Helping with special events, such as adoption events orfund raisers. 4. Helping around the shelter, if you are handy there is always something to be repaired or to be cleaned. 5. Office work and adoption follow-up. If you are interested in helping with in any of these areas please give us a call ...or fill out the application below.
